A YORKIE STORY There once was a little yorkie named Versailles who loved the finer things in life. She saw how her masters enjoyed wearing well tailored and high end clothing from Gucci to Chanel. She saw how they loved their luxurious silk bedding from Between The Sheets. She saw how they ate exquisite food off their fine Bernardaud china. She thought how lucky they were and wished she can do the same. Her two evil stepsisters the chihuahuas named Paris and Coco laughed at her and said, "You are just a dog like us, you cannot have what the humans have, it bad enough that they have to cut your hair every month like them". But Versailles ignored them and thought that just didn't have good taste. Then one summer, Versailles and her family visited France on a holiday. She saw the city of Paris and how other dogs were oh so fashionable. Then she visited the Chateau de Versailles, and she saw how Marie Antoinette treated her little dogs as equals. She loved their beds, she loved the fabrics, the huge crystal chandeliers, and she loved the fashion from portraits of the old days. Even her two sisters were in aww and said, "what lucky dogs". So Versailles decided right there that she no longer could hold it in and wanted the finer things in life. She convinced her humans that she too deserved a luxurious lifestyle and she began to shop and search for fine clothing and furnishing all over; not just in Paris but all over the globe. After finally creating her "dream come true", she decided that other little doggies deserve to live like her. She wanted an upscale dog boutique where others can buy beds, clothes, collars, and furnishings like her, and you know what? She did! Lots of little dogs from all over the world flocked and made Versailles' little dog boutique a success that it is now. This is the story of a little doggie who became known as The Gilded Yorkie.
