Gold Marie Antoinette Canopy Pet Bed

This ravishing little four-poster bed with upholstered headboards trimmed with braid has a wrought iron tester. The four lined curtains are tied back by silken cords ending in tassels. The bed frame and the canopy at the top of the tester are covered with gold leaf and patinated in the old-fashioned manner. An ostrich plume can be put on the canopy as a final delicate flourish (feathers on top of canopy not inluded).

Each piece has been lovingly crafted in the traditional manner. Solid wood is used for most of the framework. Sumptuous upholstery fabrics are selected to suit the period styles. Cushions are stuffed with real feathers for comfort.
